About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team on board our 5 Star luxury vessels. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing an allocated area within the Galley operation and ensuring that all staff comply with relevant Company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an allocated area within the Galley operation
  • Ensure all staff comply with Company standards and procedures
  • Provide professionally prepared quality food product within budget and in line with the Corporate Menu Cycle
  • Comply with all legal, safety, hygiene and administration procedures as well as HR and HS&E policies
  • Deliver staff training and have ship safety duties & responsibilities
Requirements
  • Professionally trained with relevant qualifications, NVQ 3 or City and Guilds 7061/2 with Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Computer literate
  • Management or supervisory qualification
  • 3 years operational experience in high volume catering facilities such as conference and events, banqueting or large scale 4 or 5 star hotel
