About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our fine dining restaurant, the Rooftop at the ProvidenceG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of operational excellence, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute operational excellence in the restaurant, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Manage and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure individual and departmental success.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and supply chain operations to optimize profitability and ensure consistent quality.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menu strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and guest preferences.
  • Manage labor costs, scheduling, and employee relations to ensure optimal staffing levels and minimize turnover.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless operations and optimal pricing.
  • Conduct regular financial reporting and analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of General Management experience in a fine dining restaurant environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success in leadership and operations.
  • Knowledge of labor management systems, inventory systems, POS systems, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a high-performing team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
