Position Location
This role will be based in a designated area.
Your Responsibilities
As a Suppression Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems, and Suppression Gas Systems, among other related safety products at various client locations. You will troubleshoot and install systems from multiple manufacturers, including Simplex and ANSUL. Additionally, you will interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals to effectively manage service calls and customer interactions.
Key Duties Include:
- Addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
- Conducting inspections of Suppression Gas Systems in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Assessing customer systems for compliance and functionality.
- Utilizing mobile technology and equipment effectively.
- Potential involvement in government-related projects.
Qualifications We Seek
Essential:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- FEL-A certification.
Preferred:
- Certifications from recognized manufacturers such as ANSUL or Kiddie PyroChem.
- RMEI and multi-licensing credentials.
- Valid driver's license.
