Job Overview

Accurate Chemical is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the Metro Phoenix, Arizona area. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing routine scheduled maintenance and emergency service as needed for commercial Ware wash, laundry, and housekeeping applications.

This includes installation and maintenance of automated dispensing systems. If you have a passion for working with your hands, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine scheduled maintenance for an assigned customer base.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Assistance with collections as needed.
  • Preventative maintenance on commercial dish machines, as well as chemical dispensers for ware wash, laundry, and housekeeping.
  • Install commercial dish machines and chemical dispensing systems.
  • Respond to and resolve emergency service calls in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Train end-users on chemical systems and equipment.
  • Frequently use hand and power tools.
  • Safely drive to customer sites.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs.
  • Electrical troubleshooting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in one or more of the following areas: Ware wash, laundry industry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC trades.
  • Experience in the commercial chemical industry servicing dish machines/warewash/laundry a plus but not required.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work on-call during nights and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background and motor vehicle records check.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Ability to work independently (self-motivated).
  • Possess good organizational skills.
  • Possess good communicational skills.
  • Tech savvy - ability to use smart phones and learn new technologies.
  • Proficiency in the English language, bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, standing, twisting, and bending.
  • Frequent use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work with electrical and plumbing mechanics.
  • Ability to read schematics and follow safety instructions.
