Job Overview:The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking qualified individuals to join our educational team as part-time instructors in the Professional Healthcare sector. This role involves delivering high-quality, accessible, and affordable training opportunities to individuals pursuing careers in healthcare.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for teaching non-credit courses in various healthcare disciplines at multiple locations. A strong emphasis will be placed on the ability to conduct online classes, as well as in-person instruction. Candidates with industry certifications relevant to the subjects taught are highly encouraged to apply. The areas of instruction include, but are not limited to:
Medical Office Administration, including Medical Coding and Billing Clinical Medical Assistance, encompassing both theoretical and practical training Phlebotomy Techniques, featuring lectures and hands-on skill development EKG Operation, combining classroom learning with practical lab work Ophthalmic Technology, integrating didactic and practical components Basic Emergency Medical Training, focusing on both theoretical and practical skills Personal Care Assistance, offering both classroom instruction and practical training Health Care Orientation, providing an overview of the industry Ultrasound Technology, including lectures, lab skills, and clinical externships
