About the Role

Germanna Community College is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach physics courses. As a member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach physics courses in a classroom environment to students with diverse academic backgrounds and experiences.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that promote student engagement and learning.
  • Utilize relevant technology and learning management systems to facilitate teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Maintain consistent communication and virtual support mechanisms to ensure student success.
  • Embody a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and beyond.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the specific discipline.
  • Official transcripts required prior to final offer.
  • Ability to demonstrate technology capability and commitment to continuous professional development in virtual education.
  • Experience with online teaching and learning management systems preferred.
