About the Role

As a seasoned Data Engineer at Serigor Inc., you will play a pivotal part in driving our data-driven initiatives forward. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of large-scale data processing systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in data engineering with expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure. Your excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

About the Job

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, implement, and support complex data projects. With your expertise in data integration tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Apache NiFi, and Apache Airflow, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data pipelines that meet the needs of our business units.

Responsibilities

  1. Analyze and design complex data projects from concept to delivery.
  2. Develop and maintain large-scale data processing systems using cloud-based technologies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
  4. Design and implement efficient data pipelines using data integration tools.
  5. Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  6. Provide expert-level technical support to the team and ensure the smooth operation of data systems.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend new approaches and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in data engineering with expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data integration tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Apache NiFi, and Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
