Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Services Supervisor II to join our team at Housing Opportunity Com. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of Resident Counselors and administering the HUD McKinney PSH grant programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Supervision:
    • Provide weekly individual clinical case reviews with a team of eight Resident Counselors (Case Managers) assessing, advising, and recommending appropriate participant and staff next steps.
    • Monitor case notes, leveraging charts and staff performance for completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
    • Hospitalize clients as needed.
    • Conduct case conferences and home visits with program participants and staff as needed. Conduct all new participant intakes.
    • Liaison with CoC partners, local hospitals, and treatment providers with regard to participant needs and partnerships for collaborative participant care.
    • Field instructor for one to two Social Work Interns during the academic year.
  • Administrative duties:
    • Administrative tasks include; HIMS, monthly reporting, various HOC, and Continuum of Care regular meetings. · Assist with all program audits.
    • Act as a program liaison with the CoC and other program partners; MCCH, Interfaith Works, Cornerstone Montgomery, DHHS, etc...
    • Assist with overall program support, policy development, and Supervisory coverage as needed.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Four years of related experience.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • LCSW-C Licensed Certified Social Worker –Clinical, or LCPC - Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
  • Strong communication skills and positive energy.
  • Ability to relate well to people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Familiarity with eligibility and procedures for federal and state entitlement programs.
  • Excellent assessment, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and exercise good judgment.
  • Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, regulations, HUD CoC programs is a plus.
  • Good driving record and own transportation is required.
