Dining Server

We are seeking a skilled and courteous Dining Server to join our team at Kensington Senior Living, LLC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and their guests.

Responsibilities:

• Attend tasting and menu classes to receive instructions on proper food handling, storage, and presentation.
• Perform pre-opening and closing checklist duties, including setting up service areas, setting tables, and replenishing supplies.
• Present menu items to diners in a knowledgeable manner, take orders, and deliver food and beverages in a professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of individual residents' dietary needs and ensure that special requests are addressed.
• Keep diners' tables clean and tidy, removing used plates and debris, and refreshing beverages as needed.
• Inform supervisory staff of food needs and resident questions or concerns.
• Participate in special functions and maintain 24-hour beverage and snack service.

Requirements:

• Ability to clearly communicate with people of all ages and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be able to read and write English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience in a similar position in a retirement living setting is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Certified in safe food handling.
