">Position Summary:
The Dispatch Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing customer and technician schedules, ensuring seamless communication between teams and customers. This position demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for technicians, guaranteeing timely dispatch of service calls and projects.
- Maintain continuous daily communication with technicians to address scheduling changes, updates, or job-related inquiries.
- Evaluate and correct discrepancies in technician clock-in and clock-out processes.
- Analyze time reports to ensure payroll accuracy and processing efficiency.
- Generate invoices promptly upon service completion, ensuring billing accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with management and the warehouse team to identify material requirements for upcoming service calls and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all jobs, technician activities, and material needs.
- Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and prioritize urgent service calls.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding scheduling, technician performance, and potential issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Service Dispatcher or in a related administrative or scheduling role, preferably in the electrical or construction industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and scheduling software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to analyze time reports and address discrepancies accurately.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling, billing, and reporting processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with payroll systems and reporting processes.
- Knowledge of electrical services, projects, or dispatching processes.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment.
Working Conditions:
This full-time position is based on-site, primarily in an office setting, with occasional need for phone-based troubleshooting or on-site communication.
Salary: $62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience
