About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Operations Coordinator to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for coordinating catering staff schedules, ensuring timely delivery of functions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine workload requirements from catering orders and coordinate with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements.
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner, demonstrating a complete understanding of menu items.
  • Instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions and help them set up rooms to desired specifications.
  • Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations, ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils, and ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
