Job Summary:

At Today's HR, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team as a Compensation Specialist.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of payroll services for our clients, while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for various pay cycles.
  • Collect and review timekeeping information to ensure employees are paid accurately for their time.
  • Maintain and update payroll backup documents according to company policies and procedures.
  • Process garnishments, support orders, and tax levies to ensure compliance with employee withholdings.
  • Review requests for bonuses and salary increases and other payroll adjustments in accordance with company policy and approval processes.
  • Prepare report scans for auditing.
  • Liaise between clients and internal finance teams to coordinate payroll funding.
  • Complete duties timely and double-check work product for accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email.
  • Experience with timekeeping software is a plus.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain good knowledge of systems for required duties and tasks.
  • Effective communication with internal team members and client liaisons.
  • Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work.
  • Thinking creatively.
  • Able to work within required time deadlines and deliver results on time.
  • A collaborator with great aptitude and attitude.
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to changing priorities, projects, and needs.
  • Focused on quality and delivering a flawless work product.
  • Able to multi-task and make good judgment calls on priorities.
  • Well-organized.

Estimated Salary:

$58,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience.
