Job Title: Diesel Technician/Mechanic II

Job Summary:

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team. As a Diesel Technician/Mechanic II, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, as well as other heavy equipment. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading transportation provider and be part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, as well as other heavy equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, including pneumatic wrenches and welding equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective repairs

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational or technical training in diesel engine repair and maintenance preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
