We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team, responsible for marketing property and casualty insurance programs to prospective and renewal accounts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant Commercial Lines experience, preferably in the middle market/large business segment. Experience with a broker/agent, including marketing accounts to carriers, is also preferred. A license in property & casualty insurance is required. Previous Applied Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
  1. 1. Market property and casualty insurance programs on prospective and renewal accounts.
  1. 2. Gather, analyze, and organize data; prepare submissions and applications, negotiate coverage terms, and prepare proposals for prospects.
  1. 3. Responsible for maintaining timeline and process during new business and renewal process, inclusive of exposure analysis, quote specifications, analysis and negotiation of coverage offers, and preparation and presentation of coverage proposals.
  1. 4. Review insurance policies and contracts and make recommendations for improvement.
  1. 5. Work with others to prepare property and casualty insurance submissions, including but not limited to: insurance specifications, Acord applications, loss summaries, prospect profiles, exposure schedules, etc.
  1. 6. Rate risks on insurance carrier's websites and within Auris Rater.
  1. 7. Analyze prospect client exposure and/or loss data, and develop financial models of loss sensitive programs, when necessary.
  1. 8. Answer prospect and carrier phone calls.
  1. 9. Maintain familiarity and working relationship with various insurance companies and wholesalers.
  1. 10. Responsible for updating pipeline report for prospective accounts being marketed.
  1. 11. Handle confidential and non-routine information.
  1. 12. Facilitate the placement of accounts with Strategic Carrier Partners.
  1. 13. Work independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
