About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team in Scranton, PA. As a key member of our Behavioral Health program, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to clients with behavioral health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate individualized interventions to clients as outlined in their treatment plan, ensuring effective communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Respond promptly to crisis situations, completing incident reports as necessary, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all clients.
  • Participate in regular treatment team meetings, core meetings, and other collaborative sessions to ensure seamless service delivery and client-centered care.
  • Transfer therapeutic skills to educational staff and families, promoting a cohesive approach to supporting clients' well-being.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent, supplemented by one of the following certifications: BCaBA, RBT, BCAT, Behavior Health Cert, Associate's in Human Services, or Bachelor's in a relevant field.
  • At least six months of experience in a related field, such as behavioral health, pediatrics, or a related human services area.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, along with reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to undergo pre-employment screenings and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client care.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an estimated annual salary range of $50,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience, along with benefits including health insurance, accrued PTO, referral bonuses up to $500, weekly pay, direct deposit, and more.
