As a Medical Billing Specialist at Olmsted Medical Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient interactions and efficient billing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance
  • Establish payment arrangements while adhering to OMC guidelines
  • Update demographic information and insurance records as necessary
  • Collections: Monitor Aged Trial Balance, review accounts for increase in payments, and route delinquent accounts to 1st Party TAG or Collection placement as needed

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate's degree in a Business-related field or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of business and accounting concepts. Salary range: $19.68-$24.60 per hour (based on experience).
