FOOD SERVICE TEAM SUPERVISOR

Objective: To support the management team in the overall operation of a food service establishment, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction and achieving designated sales and profitability targets while adhering to company values and policies, and maintaining the standards set by the franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in recruiting a friendly, positive, and well-trained staff eager to provide excellent service.
  2. Perform managerial tasks as outlined in the Assistant Manager's role and operational guidelines, as assigned by the Assistant Manager.
  3. Help ensure every customer departs satisfied and that all concerns are addressed. Empower and train the team to deliver exceptional Quality, Friendliness, Cleanliness, Accuracy, and Speed of Service.
  4. Support the safety and security of all staff and patrons.
  5. Contribute to achieving the restaurant's Annual Operating Plan.
  6. Ensure consistent delivery of safe food during every shift by upholding franchise safety protocols.
  7. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment, ready to provide the best dining experience possible.
  8. Help manage the procurement of food, beverages, and supplies as necessary, overseeing their preparation to ensure all products meet high-quality standards. Maintain excellence by adhering to established performance, profit, and operational benchmarks as detailed in the franchise operations manual.
  9. Utilize franchise training resources to effectively develop team members and managers for advancement opportunities. Identify and mentor shift leaders.
  10. Demonstrate proficiency with all equipment and take responsibility for preventive maintenance within the restaurant.
  11. Assist in executing all marketing initiatives promptly and accurately to enhance repeat customer visits, including approved local marketing strategies.
  12. Provide leadership by fostering enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and commitment to company goals.
  13. Assist in training all staff on cash handling procedures and credit card security, ensuring a secure environment for financial transactions.
  14. Support the completion of biannual performance evaluations for all team members.
  15. Responsible for fulfilling administrative duties and adhering to all procedural guidelines.
Reporting Structure: Reports to Food Service Manager and Assistant Manager

Subordinates: Clerks, Cooks, and Crew Members
