Hotel Breakfast Attendant

We're seeking a motivated and attentive Breakfast Attendant to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience at Sleep Inn.

As a key member of our breakfast team, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well stocked.

Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends, and arrive promptly at 5 am when scheduled
• Help maintain a high level of cleanliness in the breakfast area and public areas of the hotel
• Engage in conversation with guests and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and proper uniform
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
• Respond to guests' needs, special requests, and complaints
• Complete food and supply inventories on a weekly basis
• Prioritize attention to detail and ensure a high level of quality in all aspects of your work

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate in English
• Previous hospitality or food service experience is a plus
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, grasping, writing, standing, walking, sitting, stretching, bending, squatting, hearing, speaking, and having visual acuity
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently

Compensation: $11 - $13 hourly
