Job Description:


As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing a positive patient experience. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to manage inventory, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory management, prescription processing, and patient registration.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, prescription data, and customer feedback.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
