Pharmacy Operations Manager

As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing a positive patient experience. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to manage inventory, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory management, prescription processing, and patient registration.
- Supervise and train pharmacy technicians to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
- Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, prescription data, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous people management/leadership experience.
- Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
