POSITION OVERVIEW
Oversee the Engineering team to guarantee exceptional service for owners and guests while ensuring the upkeep of facilities. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and preventative upkeep of tools, appliances, and equipment. Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters as necessary. Identify and operate all shut-off valves. Manage inventory and stock parts and supplies as required. Maintain logs for inventory and purchase orders. Conduct inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery. Utilize computers to enter and retrieve work-related information. Operate power lifts. Complete safety checks, including fire-pump and generator tests. Inspect fire sprinkler systems and alarm mechanisms. Assist in formulating disaster response protocols. Address and respond to repair requests from owners and guests.
Support management in the recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, and motivation of staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries; and complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, uphold confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with others.
- Foster positive working relationships and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations.
- Perform physical tasks including reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Visually assess tools, equipment, or machinery. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Assist with the movement of heavier objects exceeding 100 pounds.
- Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders. Manipulate objects of various sizes and weights.
- Fulfill other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
