Job Summary

MullenLowe U.S. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Affairs Talent Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Business Affairs team, you will be responsible for managing the intricacies of advertising content, working closely with Account Management, Creative, and Production teams, as well as vendors and external contacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for talent and music-related invoices, ensuring timely payment and resolution of any issues.
  • Collaborate with accounting and Account Management to ensure all vendors are paid in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Track talent holding cycles and fees, partnering with talent payroll companies to generate estimates and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain talent tracking reports for the Account Management team, providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Prepare estimates and purchase orders for all Business Affairs-related jobs, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
  • Monitor music license renewals, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Locate and obtain permissions for footage, props, apps, quotes, references, and other assets used in commercials and videos, ensuring seamless integration and minimal delays.
  • Communicate with talent, contracts, and releases, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Provide feedback to legal counsel and relay information to relevant teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and proactively seek additional projects, demonstrating a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous internship experience preferred.
  • Interest in Production, Business Affairs, and/or Talent Management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Easily adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in dealing with clients and co-workers.
  • A team player, collaborator, problem solver, and strategic thinker.
  • An open mindset, comfortable working towards creative solutions to make the work happen.
  • Strong reading comprehension skills with the ability to review and summarize contractual terms.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed.
What We Offer
