We are currently seeking a dedicated and career-focused Security Program Manager 2 to join our team. This position will involve delivering exceptional support to our clients and embarking on a fulfilling career path within ManTech.

The Security Program Manager will assist in offering comprehensive security support for a multifaceted and intricate organization under the guidance of the program security supervisor.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Address a variety of security matters with various directorates and offices, including physical, personnel, operational, technical, industrial, and information system security.
  • Provide guidance to defense contractors across all industrial security domains.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities frequently shift.
  • Conduct Classification Reviews.
  • Review and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate agreements and memorandums related to security.
  • Prepare Security Engineering Service Requests as per client specifications.
  • Assist defense contractors with personnel security issues, including conducting debriefs and ensuring proper information markings in compliance with relevant executive orders.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Proficient in implementing Intelligence Community Directives and familiar with NRO Directives and security policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce government security requirements for facility accreditation and information systems certification.
  • Proven track record of establishing effective working relationships with government agencies and mission partners.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, take appropriate actions independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience in providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers.
  • Skilled in delivering clear and effective presentations on complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in reviewing and approving security-related requests.
  • Demonstrated experience in contractor oversight and working with industrial security teams.
  • Ability to mentor junior security personnel.
  • Capable of developing and executing specific security tasks in support of sensitive environments.
  • Ability to assess classification sources and manage security classification issues.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within the continental United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively in both small and large group settings.
  • Proficient in interacting with peers, staff, and senior government officials.

Security Requirements: Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time and effectively communicate with peers and senior personnel.
