Job Title: Security Officer

ManTech International Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general security support for a multi-disciplined and complex organization.
  • Work with Program Managers and SMEs to assess risk and develop, document, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Perform a variety of security-related tasks for SCI Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) activities.
  • Generate and/or assist in the write-ups of DD254s, program protection plans, program security classification guides, program SOPs, and program CONOPs.
  • Have IC or DoD security experience across multiple security disciplines.
  • Able to work complex or sensitive security issues thoroughly and with discretion.
  • Experience providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers, in support of secure and successful mission accomplishment.
  • Ability to resolve security classification issues.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements and tasks and manage long-term tasks as well as short-term obligations.
  • Demonstrated experience working with industrial security staffs.
  • Have a working knowledge and be able to implement Intelligence Community Directives as well as NRO Directives and Instructions.
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma and 8 or more years relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years relevant experience, or Associates and 6 or more years experience.
  • 25% Travel required both CONUS and OCONUS.
