Manufacturing Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Planner to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Test Manufacturing group, you will be responsible for managing and leading the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of the engineering design, need, and final intended application.
- Generate and monitor the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues, and ensuring items are delivered to meet customers' schedules.
- Utilize Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) to generate work orders, build/maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), generate material requisitions, and provide material/work order status to customers.
- Actively contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures.
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment area.
- Experience with material procurement.
- S. government issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware.
- Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings.
- Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software and database applications.
- Exposure to the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentation.
- Experience dealing with supply chain and material obsolescence issues.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
