Job Details

Ascent Aviation Services is a leading aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, storage, and reclamation operations company. We are seeking a highly motivated and career-minded Aviation Maintenance Planner to join our team.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for accomplishing bidding of potential projects, maintenance planning, scheduling functions, and developing workflows and sequences for maintenance visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in digital data gathering to aid bid work for future maintenance projects.
  • Perform data entry tasks to translate customers' work-scope specifications into work instructions for upload into Ascent's ERP system.
  • Assist in the preparation of work packages for operations, including assembly of work cards, sorting, printing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Identify, gather, and sort required technical data from various aircraft maintenance manuals.
  • Navigate governmental and manufacturer websites/portals to retrieve and sort applicable airworthiness directives, service bulletins, engineering orders, and other documentation required for work packages.
  • Assist in loading and setting up project control booths.
  • Perform essential Production Control Administrator duties as required.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree, post-secondary education, training in aircraft maintenance, or equivalent education or experience required.
  • Two or more years of experience in aircraft maintenance with planning at an MRO or similar industry preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • A&P License or similar certification preferred.
