Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at Marklund Day School in Elgin. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior plans, conducting assessments, and providing coaching and training to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Analysis Assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and implement behavior plans that are tailored to the individual needs of our students
  • Collect and analyze data to track student progress and make data-driven decisions
  • Report quarterly on behavior goals and data included in a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Facilitate weekly behavior support meetings to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to our staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to support our students
  • Train and supervise Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs) to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality services
  • Lead crisis teams as a Professional Crisis Management (PCM) trainer to ensure our students receive the support they need in times of crisis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification with a supervisory endorsement
  • Experience working with students with multiple needs and autism
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and meet its functional and environmental requirements
