Job Title: Certified Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist

RUSH Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Injury Prevention Specialist/ATC for an industrial setting in Elgin, IL.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a certified athletic trainer to provide injury prevention services to our industrial client. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver full continuum of onsite injury prevention services, including assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
  • Conduct ergonomic risk assessments and implement ergonomic solutions
  • Design and implement functional assessments, preventative exercise, and stretching programs
  • Provide education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics, including office ergonomics and health and wellness consultation
  • Document and report on employee encounters and communicate regularly with both client and Select Medical leadership
Requirements:
  • BS Degree Required
  • National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
  • Eligible for state license
  • Minimum one year experience, industrial setting experience a plus
  • CPR certification
