Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc.
This is a $60,000 - $80,000 per year opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Job SummaryThe Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and other cardiac imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records. The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills, be flexible with work hours, and demonstrate a commitment to providing safe and age-appropriate care to patients.
Responsibilities- Perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and other cardiac imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments
- Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Registered Medical Sonographer or Reg Cardiac Sonographer certification
- 1 year of experience in echocardiography or related field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and function effectively in a fast-paced environment
