Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our Radiology team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a dynamic environment where they can make a real difference in patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation: The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring that it is properly calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Patient Care: Our ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, obtaining complete clinical histories, gathering examination data, and assessing contraindicating conditions.
- Image Production: They will produce high-quality images by selecting appropriate techniques, penetration, and positioning, while maintaining image quality and minimizing radiation exposure.
- Education: A graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology is required.
- Certifications: ARRT Radiography certification is mandatory upon hire, along with Basic Life Support or BLS Instructor certification.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of entry-level experience up to 5 years of experience is required, with experience within the past seven (7) years.
The estimated salary for this role is around $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
