Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Blend Technician to join our dynamic team at STI Polymer Inc. As a Blend Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our polymer production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately weigh and prepare raw materials according to specifications.
  • Operate and monitor equipment to drain reactor vessels.
  • Filter and ensure the quality of finished goods.
  • Packaging finished polymer with attention to safety and standards.
  • Regularly lift materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good basic math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Must be able to wear a full-face respirator mask.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, push/pull, and climb stairs.
  • Completion of Predictive Index assessment.

Openings are available on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Training on 1st shift will be provided for approximately 45 days upon hire.
