Position Overview:

The Pharmacy Buyer/Tech acts as a key expert and leader in the procurement of pharmaceuticals. This role is essential in ensuring that an adequate supply of medications is available to meet patient care requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring and communicating any drug shortages and identifying alternative products.

Additionally, the position encompasses standard pharmacy technician duties, such as preparing, charging, prepackaging, delivering, managing expiration dates, ordering, and receiving medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
