Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Salon Manager to join our team at Great Clips. As an Assistant Salon Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Salon Manager in the day-to-day operations of the salon, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Salon Manager in the management of salon staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive growth and increase revenue.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with the Salon Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

  • A current Illinois Cosmetology License or eligibility to take the Illinois exam.
  • Two years of experience in a salon environment, with a proven track record of success in customer service and sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to driving sales growth.
