Job Summary

As a Home Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and dignity of our patients, providing personal care and support to help them maintain their independence.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Medication Management: Help patients with medication intake and prescribed exercises, ensuring they receive the necessary care to manage their condition.
  • Household Services: Provide incidental household services, such as light housekeeping and meal preparation, to support patients in maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Plan of Care: Follow the Plan of Care (Instruction Sheet) as instructed and make appropriate updates during scheduled visits to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
  • Age-Friendly Care: Prioritize Age-Friendly Care, focusing on the patient's needs, medications, mentation, and mobility to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Certification: Must be a certified nurse's aide (CNA) with a valid certification.
  • Driver's License: Must maintain a valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable automobile.
  • Education: High school graduates or GED preferred.
  • Teamwork: Be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team setting, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Field Experience: Be able to work in field situations, adapting to changing environments and patient needs.
Compensation

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
