Job Overview

Goods Electric Heating & Air is on the lookout for a dedicated HVAC Service Technician to enhance our team.

Position Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $35,000 - $70,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general HVAC service calls and system evaluations.
  • Build rapport with customers to recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Guide customers in selecting optimal financing options and maintenance plans.
  • Meet and exceed service criteria and revenue targets.
  • Present yourself as a knowledgeable professional to gain referrals and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with customer service, dispatch, and warehouse teams for overall operational success.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work environment and vehicle.
  • Engage actively in training sessions, team meetings, and one-on-one discussions.
  • Mentor apprentices to foster company growth.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, timecards, and customer feedback documentation.

Revenue Growth Driver:

  • Foster profitable growth by converting service calls into loyal customers.

Professional Brand Ambassador:

  • Uphold the company’s brand by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Performance Indicators:

The following key performance indicators (KPIs) are essential for success:

  • 1. Conversion Rate: Achieve HVAC demand of 85% or higher.
  • 2. Average Sale: Maintain an average sale of $500 or more.
  • 3. Sold Hour Efficiency: Attain 15% or greater efficiency.
  • 4. GCM Conversion Rate: Achieve a conversion rate of 25% or higher.
  • 5. Recall Rate: Maintain a recall rate of 3% or less.
