Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fueler/Washer to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our equipment.

Responsibilities:

\u2022 Fuel all delivery equipment daily, adhering to strict safety protocols
\u2022 Conduct daily checks of oil, fluids, and tire pressure to ensure optimal equipment performance
\u2022 Assist the fleet shop as needed, collaborating with team members to resolve issues
\u2022 Work closely with fleet shop and night warehouse management to prepare equipment for use
\u2022 Wash trailers according to FSQA schedule, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
\u2022 Support night truck spotters in organizing the truck yard, ensuring efficient operations

Requirements:

\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
\u2022 Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
\u2022 Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
\u2022 Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Physical Demands:

\u2022 Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
\u2022 Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
\u2022 Occasionally required to sit
\u2022 The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
