Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform assigned tasks in compliance with Idealease policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Accurately complete repair orders and maintain accurate notes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Interface easily with Idealease/dealer computer systems.
  • Support other technicians in repairs with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain/attain required skills to be a qualified state inspector (DOT).
  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to Idealease/dealership information.
Requirements:
  • Basic Skills: Knowledge of basic engine and driveline, electrical, cab and suspension, EPA 609 Certification, and trailer preventative maintenance work.
  • Trade Skills, Knowledge, and/or Experience: Provide own hand tools, knowledge of proper tool use, inspection and lubrication, and cab, frame, front axle, steering gear, and springs.
  • Skills, Knowledge, and/or Experience: Customer-focused, knowledgeable of medium and heavy-duty International truck products, good written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills.
Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Special technical training, honesty, and integrity.
  • CDL License: A full-service lease technician may be asked to complete other duties, including fueling, washing, and delivering leased vehicles.
