We are seeking a Guest Services Clerk to join our team at China Peak Mountain Resort. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, answering inquiries, and handling guest complaints and compliments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide information to guests regarding resort activities, services, and facilities.
  • Issue special tickets and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure responsible adults sign releases for minors receiving special tickets.
  • Perform data entry to record special ticket issuances.
  • Operate the PBX system to answer, screen, and route calls.
Additional Duties

Due to the dynamic nature of winter resort operations, you may be asked to perform other duties or assist in efforts outside your primary area of responsibility as needed.

Competencies
  • Attendance/Punctuality: Consistently arrive on time and attend required staff meetings.
  • Dependability: Follow instructions, respond to management direction, and take responsibility for your actions.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Physical and Environmental Demand Level

This role requires working in a fast-paced winter resort environment with varied work venues, including steep stairways, multi-level buildings, and outdoor work areas. Proper footwear is essential, and work days and hours may vary with an emphasis on weekends and holidays.
