Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Auditor to join our team at Alameda Alliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Compliance Program, with a focus on external auditing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate external audits of delegated entities to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Recommend opportunities to strengthen the external audit control structure.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of delegated audits.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits of delegated entities to ensure compliance with regulations and controls.
  • Develop and update audit tools to account for all current regulatory requirements.
  • Create and implement corrective action plans resulting from delegated audits.
  • Recommend opportunities to strengthen controls.
  • Develop and coordinate preparatory "mock" audits, including reviews of policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the management of the AAH audit calendar.
  • Present audit findings to the Alliance Compliance Committee.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare, auditing, compliance, regulatory, investigation, and/or insurance/managed care.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret legislative, statutory, regulatory, and legal language.
  • Proficient experience in the use of computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires constant sitting and working at a desk. The successful candidate will be required to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with staff and other business associates.
