Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Injection Mold Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising technical resources, including people, tools, and machines, to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise resources to meet established budgets for volume, scrap, and labor
  • Investigate system and process-related problems, recommend corrective actions, and implement improvements
  • Determine parts supply, maintenance tasks, safety procedures, and service schedules to maintain machines and equipment
  • Develop and maintain daily metrics of production goals vs. achievements, analyze shortfalls, and document causes
  • Implement and supervise adherence to company policies, including safety, attendance, training, preventive maintenance, quality, and employee handbook
  • Perform supervisory duties, including hiring, training, scheduling, assigning work, evaluating, and rewarding performance
  • Coach, mentor, and guide direct reports to effectively diagnose, repair, adjust, and maintain processing and packaging equipment
  • Perform audits on preventive maintenance, in-process checks, changeover log, line organization, line scrap, and production boards
  • Drive process improvements, ensure accountability, and meet promise dates
  • Assist with root cause analyses and 8D where applicable
Requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, provide tactical supervision, and effectively delegate prioritized work assignments
  • Effective communication with co-workers and management
  • Exercise independent judgment with limited instruction and guidance
  • Working knowledge of injection molding, mechanical, automation, and work cell style manufacturing equipment and processes
Working Conditions

The work environment is primarily on the manufacturing floor, where noise levels may be moderate or high, and hearing protection may be required. Eye protection is necessary outside the office environment. The position involves occasional physical demands, including lifting weights up to 45 lbs., exposure to extreme temperatures, and working near moving mechanical machinery.
