Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Join FUJIFILM Sonosite, a leading innovator in point-of-care ultrasound, as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to lead the design and development of our cutting-edge transducer products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute technical projects involving the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices.
  • Conduct independent technical investigations and utilize mechanical engineering principles to originate or modify material, component, or process specifications and requirements.
  • Prepare design specifications, analyses, and recommendations for presentation and approval.
  • Lead and collaborate with other groups/team members to meet schedule and project demands.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's or Ph.D. in a related field preferred.
  • Seven or more years of product development experience, with at least five years designing electro-mechanical devices or a similar type FDA-regulated medical device.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical tolerance analysis and Designed Experiment Techniques.
  • Design of assemblies, including surface modeling, of injection molded parts using internal or external contract design resources.
  • Expert knowledge with SolidWorks.
  • High-level thermal modeling experience, such as COSMOS or other FEA software.
What We Offer:
  • $97,000 - $130,000 salary range, depending on experience, plus variable bonus opportunity.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and company-paid disability.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% automatic company contribution and Fujifilm matches 50 cents for every dollar contributed, up to 6% of salary.
  • Paid time off, including up to three weeks in the first year, increasing based on years of service.
