Support Specialist for Individuals with Brain Injuries

The BridgeLine is a unique human service program that offers a sense of community and support to individuals with brain injuries. Our mission is to empower members to achieve greater independence and self-realization through person-centered goals.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with program members to foster understanding, develop plans, and continuously improve their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop strong relationships with program members to understand their needs and goals.
- Design and Implement Service Plans: Collaborate with members to create and review service plans that promote their independence and self-realization.
- Drive Program Success: Work alongside members to plot out and complete tasks within the work unit, ensuring a productive and engaging work environment.
- Provide Transportation: Safely transport members in our vehicles, requiring an excellent driving record.
- Passion for Making a Difference: Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting individuals with brain injuries and making a positive impact in their lives.
- Strong Team Player: Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and initiate unit activities.
- Professional Excellence: Exhibit a strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and a desire for continuous learning and growth.
- Technical Skills: Proficiently use technology to support member independence and enthusiasm to teach others.
- Experience Working with Disabilities: Possess deep experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably those with brain injuries.
