About the Role

Cordant Health Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analytical Manager to lead our laboratory operations in Indianapolis, IN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the screening and confirmatory analysis of biological fluids for drugs of abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the auto-chemistry, LC/MS/MS, and GC/MS laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts, optimize processes, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new employees, ensuring they meet all lab rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to resolve work-related problems and improve laboratory productivity.
  • Allocate work schedules, assignments, and analytical resources to meet production goals and improve quality.
  • Enforce compliance with CLIA, safety, environmental, and security regulations, and maintain personal accountability for attendance, productivity, and training.
  • Participate in employee performance appraisals and ensure all work is complete, accurate, and meets high-quality standards.
  • Act as the IT contact for lab issues, system upgrades, and new machine installation, providing technical support for software testing.
  • Participate in internal inspections and external audits, and perform or review audits of processes, work production, employee knowledge, and competency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a hard science field, plus 6 years of lab experience, or Master's Degree in a hard science field, plus 4 years of lab experience, or Doctoral Degree in a hard science field, plus 2 years of lab experience.
  • Previous supervisory or training experience is required.
  • High degree of computer literacy, knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems software, and medical terminology are highly desirable.
