About the Role

The Demand Planner will play a critical role in ensuring the business meets customer service levels targets while minimizing operating costs and optimizing stock levels. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using data from various sources, including historical sales data and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the supply planning team to ensure timely and cost-effective inventory replenishments.
  • Generate new requirements for finished goods and share them with the supply planning team.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings to review product portfolio and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality teams to mitigate issues related to shortages and delays.
  • Develop and maintain solid planning processes for make-to-order and make-to-stock products.
  • Identify and recommend corrective actions for excess, obsolete, and end-of-life inventories.
  • Monitor inventory levels and propose actions to mitigate inventory write-offs.
  • Manage and resolve supply and inventory plan variances, including unexpected demand.
  • Create and maintain reports to effectively communicate information against established business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Master user-level knowledge of major ERP/MRP systems, with D365 experience preferred.
  • Advanced user of MS Office and ERP software.
  • At least 5 years of related experience.
