Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team in Austin, TX. As a Demand Planner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and issue finished goods forecasts, translating into manufacturing plans. You will analyze business drivers, lead consensus meetings, and partner with Marketing, Finance, and Commercial to drive optimal short and long-term demand plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and issue finished goods forecasts, translating into manufacturing plans
  • Analyze business drivers and lead consensus meetings
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Commercial to drive optimal short and long-term demand plans
  • Apply analytical techniques and leverage statistical modeling to develop unbiased demand forecasts
  • Perform statistical data analysis to identify relations, patterns, and features that predict forecasting trends and performance metrics projections
  • Design solutions to adjust to demand-based finished goods inventory changes
  • Track forecast key performance indicators (KPIs) and continually develop plans to improve results
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in forecasting and/or supply chain planning and management
  • Understanding of Demand Planning and Forecasting methodology as well as S&O process
  • Experience with forecasting application software – SAP/APO preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and concisely communicate business implications of forecasts and actual results

This role requires effective communication skills with all levels of management, inside and outside of finance. The individual must be highly motivated and have a desire to innovate. The ability to work independently and proactively identify improvement opportunities is essential.
