We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Aramark. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing way.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including meats, vegetables, and desserts
- Set up workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment
- Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and mixers
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all food is prepared and served on time
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
