Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and care of patients undergoing transesophageal echo (TEE), cardioversions, cardiac and vascular procedures, including percutaneous coronary intervention (PTCI) and percutaneous vascular intervention under moderate sedation.
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies, demonstrating knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system.
  • Provide safe medication administration for cardiac patients and utilize appropriate hand-off of care amongst healthcare providers.
  • Adhere to department standards for documenting patient care and provide education and discharge planning to patients and families.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days of employment start date.
  • NH Licensed Registered Nurse or valid compact state RN License.
  • Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • At least 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience preferred.
