Job Summary:
Parkland Medical Center is seeking a skilled Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse RN to join our healthcare team. As a Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of patients, in support of HCA ethical principles and values.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document all aspects of patient care, setting priorities and modifying patient care in response to changing conditions.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to unlicensed personnel and provide required supervision as needed.
- Monitor, record, and communicate effectively patient condition as appropriate, utilizing computerized documentation systems to maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and physicians.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, instructing and educating patients and families providing age and culturally appropriate care.
- Function as an effective team member and/or charge RN when needed, orienting and mentoring new staff members.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with New Hampshire license or active Compact License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- CPI certification within 60 days of hire.
- PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
- TNCC within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.
