Key Responsibilities
- Maintain availability for a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays, to support the business's operational needs.
- Ensure food and beverage safety and quality standards are met in accordance with hotel and franchise guidelines.
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
- Take and deliver guests' beverage orders, utilizing effective selling techniques as needed.
- Serve food courses and non-alcoholic beverages in line with departmental standards and event specifications.
- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs promptly, ensuring positive interactions.
- Familiarize yourself with hotel services and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
- Address guest complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Prior experience in banquet service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.
- Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Completion of ServSafe or equivalent food safety training.
- Alcohol service training (e.g., TIPS) is beneficial.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous.
- Knowledge of local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
