Job Title: Behavioral Interventionist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavioral Interventionist to join our team at Hour Family TX LLC. As a Behavioral Interventionist, you will work one-on-one with clients, implementing behavioral strategies and interventions developed by licensed clinical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior interventions from treatment plans written by licensed clinical professionals.
  • Communicate, teach, and train interventions to client family members/caregivers or other support providers.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, meeting or exceeding Department of State Health Services standards.
  • Provide face-to-face or telephone contact with individuals, their family, or other service providers to consistently deliver Behavioral services.
  • Participate in service planning team meetings via teleconference, video conferencing, or in person as required.
  • Maintain a calendar to reflect scheduled/cancelled appointments and document all interactions/attempts with family/caregivers or other service providers.
  • Follow all HIPAA regulations related to confidentiality and ethical practices as it relates to clients.
  • Complete all required compliance trainings or show proof of current valid certification(s).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 12 months mental health or social service experience with emphasis on direct clinical care.
  • Experience working with the IDD population, including children and/or adults on the Autism Spectrum.
  • The ability to work with children and/or adults of varying ages.
  • Reliable vehicle transportation.
  • Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends dependent on client availability. Clients must be seen weekly.
  • The ability to 'think on your feet', have mental flexibility, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding and experience working with ABA therapies is a plus.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel in Dallas County within a 30-mile radius.
