Public Relations Specialist

A leading provider of mental health, substance use disorder treatments, and support services for individuals with developmental disabilities, River Edge Behavioral Health (REBH) seeks a skilled Marketing and Communication Manager.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Marketing and Communication Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating marketing and communications efforts across all applicable channels. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of delivering state-of-the-art treatment and support services to those in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute an integrated communication strategy to enhance REBH's brand and raise awareness of programs, departments, and accomplishments among internal and external audiences
- Develop an annual communications and marketing plan to boost REBH's brand visibility, publishing timely press releases on various social media platforms, creating printed materials, managing ad placements, overseeing social media campaigns, and managing the River Edge website
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including department heads, staff, and stakeholders, such as media contacts and board members
- Manage the department budget and expenses for communications and marketing, ensuring effective resource allocation
- Create engaging content for both internal and external audiences, leveraging available tools, networks, and information to complete tasks effectively and efficiently
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, public relations, or a related field from an accredited college
- Experience with multiple desktop publishing software, such as Canva, MS Publisher, Adobe InDesign, or similar tools
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading, directing, and managing communication and marketing responsibilities across a business
- Five years of experience creating targeted content, enhancing brand visibility and reputation, developing strategic, comprehensive communication plans, measuring their effectiveness, and interpreting data results
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and leadership abilities, and the ability to pass an extensive background check
